TurnHere, Inc. is a media company that produces professional digital videos, accessible on the Internet, to assist both travelers and locals in exploring cities and destinations around the world. Which is why the tagline we created for them — “Short films. Cool places.”— is so on target.
Way back in 2005, the world of Internet video was still virgin territory (YouTube was still just three guys in a garage). But TurnHere founder Brand Inman had a vision: nothing could compete with the power of video to communicate a sense of place. That was the idea behind TurnHere: a massive collection of semi-professional short films about cool places all over the world. The challenge was that they were starting with little more than a great idea, a handful of videos and a rough prototype. That’s where we came in.
In addition to a complete visual identity (from logo to tagline to collateral), we also designed a new information architecture and user-experience for their website, making it easier for viewers to find, rate and share relevant films and information about destinations.
