The explosion of information appliances is evolving how, where, when and what we consume digitally. In parallel, traditional media formats and business models – books, magazines and websites – are being reforged in this multi-device virtual crucible. Zinio, the global leader in digital and interactive publishing products and services, is orchestrating this renaissance.

The Challenge

Content and media on the Internet are evolving into a jungle of interwoven patterns – social networks, blogs, news sites, RSS feeds. Large publishers are struggling to make sense of this new digital ecosystem and to find profitable models to leverage the value of their offline content, design, layout and advertising.

Zinio was building a solution, but needed help cutting through the noise and confusion of the online publishing jungle. They needed to improve the user experience of their product and clarify their offering and messaging.

The Solution

Sequence designed an intuitive new interface for reading high-fidelity, graphically-rich digital content. We started with market analysis and brand positioning and then developed a new UI, iconography and home page for their next-gen product.
